Downtown Oakland is home to a plethora of culinary experiences. From quick lunches to gourmet fare, there is simply something for everyone. The Old Oakland neighborhood, just west of Broadway, is brimming with international restaurants. On the corner of 9th and Washington, B Restaurant  offers gourmet sit-down dining.

Old Oakland is home to The Pacific Coast Brewing Company, Oakland's first brewery. On 8th street, Tamarindo serves award-winning Mexican Tapas. You can also find For more casual Mexican dining, La Calle serves street-style tacos on 10th and Broadway.

City Center Plaza abounds with lunchtime eateries including world famous Top Dog hot dogs, as well as an abundance of chain restaurants and delis.  On 11th and Broadway, Cafe Verbena offers California/Italian Fusion and after work cocktails.
