If you are a property owner in the district who would like graffiti removed from your building, please click here to download, read, and complete our permission form. Once completed please email the signed form to the Program Director at porsche@downtownoakland.org

If our team is unable to manage the situation, you may want to explore alternative solutions such as contacting The Mobile Assistance Community Responders of Oakland (MACRO) or OAK311 for additional assistance.

Call 911 and request for MACRO services

The Mobile Assistance Community Responders of Oakland (MACRO) Program is a community response program for non-violent, non-emergency 911 calls. The purpose of MACRO is to meet the needs of the community with a compassionate care first response model grounded in empathy, service, and community.

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Please report active infrastructure emergencies to OAK311 by dialing 311 or (510) 615-5566. Emergencies include downed trees or tree limbs, flooding or sewer overflows, and street signal outages.

The Hospitality and Maintenance Ambassador program is the flagship initiative of the Uptown Downtown Community Benefit Districts. With a team of 30 full-time
ambassadors, our program is designed to elevate the visitor experience by providing exceptional care to public spaces throughout our downtown area.

WHAT WE DO

Greening And
Beautification

Our ambassadors undertake tasks such as landscaping, groundskeeping, and public plaza maintenance.

Maintenance

Our Ambassadors tackle tasks such as graffiti abatement, illegal dumping removal, litter abatement, and power washing.

Hospitality

Our Ambassadors offer a range of services, including buddy/umbrella escorts, business engagement, and giving directions.
